Dr. Carlos Caldas is a Professor of Cancer Medicine at the University of Cambridge and Head of the Breast Cancer Functional Genomics Laboratory at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute. He is an Honorary Consultant Medical Oncologist and Breast Cancer Programme Director at the Cambridge Cancer Centre. Dr. Caldas is a Fellow of the Academy of the Medical Sciences, a Fellow of the European Academy of Cancer Sciences, and an EMBO Member. His research focus is the functional genomics of breast cancer and its biological and clinical implications. He has published over 250 manuscripts, including articles in Nature, Cell, New England Journal of Medicine, Nature Genetics, Science Translational Medicine and Nature Communications.
